Pre-Restoration
Do your knives look something like this? If so you're likely in need of restoration. Removing enough material from a blade to correct damage like this takes significantly more time and involves elevated material cost, so knives needing restoration carry an extra charge ($14 each)
If you'd like to have your edge reprofiled (edge angle/geometry changed) done this is a great time to do it, just discuss your needs with your sharpener.
Post-Restoration
Here is that same knife post restoration. We remove only the required steel to make a new clean edge and nothing more.
Due to the subjective nature of restoring knives they can't be added to a cart or charged beforehand. It will have to be discussed on site with your sharpener.
